Sudoku puzzle is a game requiring logical reasoning. Well, as a player or solver can incorporate three strategic methods upon giving solutions to the puzzle.

1. Scanning can be done on the outset all through out the solutions. It should be performed one time between periods of analysis. There are two basic methods in scanning. 2. Solve the puzzle efficiently which allows faster computation.

Highly sophisticated and optimized backtracking programs for standard Sudoku problems are most efficient. Some solver is using the Knuth’s algorithm converting the Sudoku puzzle into a matrix cover problem because of simple and easy implementation, speed execution and availability of reference source code and documentation.
